i3 provides active range clearance services as a prime contractor.
Scope of Services: i3 conducts active range clearance field experiments and operations, evaluates systems capabilities, conducts engineering research and development initiatives and determines any UXO detection, characterization, handling and disposal capability gaps. i3 develops and integrates new robotic systems for UXO remediation and active range clearance activities. In addition, i3 will develop advanced mapping and geo-survey techniques to accurately determine UXO location and various terrain types.
New robotic systems to be developed will include a multi-functional payload system; large scale clearance and construction system; high speed vegetation removal system; and a shallow water remediation system.
